Today I would like to share with you a set of exquisite and elegant bakery signature product gift boxes.
A gift box design for a food brand, the theme of this gift box is “sunrise”. The brand, which has been in Macau for over 110 years, was commissioned to design a gift box containing three of the brand’s signature products. Taking inspiration from the first character of the brand’s traditional Chinese name, it can be decomposed into two other characters representing sunshine when read together, so “sunrise” is adopted as the theme of the design. The cover of the gift box has a gradient background reminiscent of the changing colors of light at sunrise, and the semicircle symbolizing the rising sun. The symbol alludes to the infinite cycle of life, and the brand’s desire to continue to shine. The packaging is a handcrafted wooden box that conveys the value of the brand’s handcrafted products. Inside the box is a beautiful drawing, consisting of three smaller designs, printed on the covers of three of the brand’s classic products. The crane in the picture represents longevity in Chinese culture, echoing the century-old history of the storefront. Flying at sunrise symbolizes the promotion and revival of traditional Chinese food making techniques.
